PaintingProjects

Every PaintingProject is defintely original!

When I first started painting at school- remember "O" levels?- I loved the diversity of art. Batique, screen printing, colour blocking.  But if you wanted portraits, well, that would be my mum's forte.  I could do drawing and painting the models, but faces were never my thing, so I got into Abstract art. It was something I could have an idea of where I was going but then delve off the beaten track into something completely different.  And that's where I am today.

It can start with a piece of paper...or a canvas...or a sheet....

I love "SplatterArt" and stumbled across this way of painting while playing with a multitude of colours and a wet paintbrush.  When finished, it can be used as a background to add photos, text, other artwork and then framed.

To my mind, you can't get art wrong.  What you love or don't love is entirely your taste alone, so that's why I love trying new ways of painting.  And each time, it will be different, and unique and totally you.
