Vocaleyesation Aims & Purposes

 

 

• To encourage self-confidence and esteem
• To promote health and well being
• To provide an expressive outlets for all creative arts.
• To develop personal and social skills
• To develop team work
• To encourage everyone, regardless of gender, race, belief or ability/disability that their contribution is seen as important.
• To explore ways of creating pieces of poetry that enables and significantly improves communication, in whatever form that communication takes.
• The use of BSL and Makaton as a language
• To build relationships
• To bring together communities.

 

• Vocaleyesation is a project that everyone can be involved in, irrespective of who or what they are.

 

• Vocaleyesation aims to provide freedom in expression through dance, drama, visual art, spoken & unspoken word, music and team work.

 

• Vocaleyesation is a place of creative thinking, respect, mindfulness and safety.  Through each piece of work, we aim to help each person connect with the words and movements, so that they become their own but also fit together with all work to create a complete piece of performance poetry.
