Creative Writing

Being able to write is immensely important to me. Just like art, there are no wrong or right ways to write.

You just do it.

 

Sometimes, you can stumble around for that word that's on the tip of your tongue or it'll come pouring out, and that's what I love about it.

 

I predominantly write for a creative arts group, Cre8, of which I am the Director of Drama and Dance.  Finding a sketch that suits your needs and one you don't have to pay royalties to is pretty tough going. So I decided I'd do it myself and have been doing so for the past 10 years.

 

Then there's poetry. The amazing thing about poetry is that it doesn't have to rhyme! If it does, well, that a bonus. What matters is that you get across what you want to say.

 

I often combine a piece of artwork with creative writing, and this can be seen in many of the projects I've done over the last 2 years.
